Emerging Markets International s.a. (EMI), formerly Cardno Emerging Markets, Belgium s.a., is a global, integrated professional services consultancy firm which works with bilateral and multilateral donors, private firms and government agencies to improve living standards in developing countries.

Since its establishment in 1998, EMI team has carried out more than 400 EU-funded technical assistance projects and programmes globally and has acquired extensive experience in providing continuous backstopping support to our teams of Experts and Clients. EMI has also worked extensively with other global donors, such as FCDO (DFID), the World Bank, MCC, AfDB, ADB and UN agencies, partner governments, private clients and communities.

Victor DELEPLANCQUE

Victor joined EMI as a Business Development Manager in March 2024.

He boasts over 10 years of experience in trade-related technical assistance projects and programs across developing countries, working as both a project manager and independent consultant.

His expertise lies in providing strategic advisory services on macroeconomic and trade analysis, export strategy development, and private sector growth. He has a proven track record of designing and reviewing sectoral and national private sector development strategies, in particular for the International Trade Centre (ITC) (UNCTAD/WTO) in countries across Africa and Asia.
